Inbox by Gmail App Reviews

I love Inbox and it helps me organise my life. But why no support for iPad Pro resolution or split screen? This is a glaring omission and a major problem. Im astonished Google isnt keeping this excellent product up to date on iOS.

Google , it’s been 6 months and still no iPhone X support, seeing those black bar is really annoying, please make this small update.

After 5 months and multiple updates Inbox still does not support the display for iPhone X! The black bars on top and bottom are hideous! Come on Google Team, we expect better from you!

Google, we get it, you hate iOS. But you have to update for iPhone X! Its embarrassing at this point!

App is crashing since update

It used to work perfect and loved this app but now it says I have 9 unread messages on the app icon (little red badge count thingy). And I know I don’t have any new messages because my desktop email reads zero. I’ve been reading other reviews and I see I’m not the only one with this problem. Please let us know what’s going on and fix it!!!

A mail app with more features than any other app of this type.

Nice and simple interface. Possibility to delete messages straight in summary list would be nice.

So loved inbox still think it’s pretty awesome. It’s unacceptable that there isn’t a iPhoneX version. It’s even more unacceptable that I can’t use the web version on my phone. ? unbelievable...

I would give this 5 stars if I could send group emails from my contacts but since that cannot happen with the app it is 4 stars for me. Almost a perfect app for email. I love the organization.

This is the best mobile email client Ive ever seen. I love the gestures.

Still no iPhone X screen update yet

It’s a nice app that complements the Inbox experience on desktop. Since you optimized the Gmail app for iPhone X shortly after it came out, I guess I don’t see why you can’t do the same for Inbox. Also, on desktop and mobile, please allow me to search for a folder/label when I’m moving an email out of my inbox. Again, Gmail allows me to do this and I really wish I could do it in Inbox.

Inbox is my favorite email app, but you are making it extremely difficult to use, so I have to roll back from time to time to other apps. Please do update the size to fit iPhone X and leverage more native components of iOS, so it does now freez every time I try to use it.

Really like this. If you’re used to google’s web interface, this is a big step up.

Since they pushed me to inbox so hard (nags all over the gmail UI), I thought inbox would be the first-class app. But this app is terrible for notifications and has not updated to accommodate the iPhone X in all this time. The gmail app handles both of these so much better. And they share so much UI, you would think both COULD at least keep parity on some of this stuff.

Its not that hard

I understand that the inbox app by google is a bridge to a truly autonomous email client that will eventually handle all our email, notifying us only for the most pressing or unpredictable situations. Until then all current versions of inbox are very well thought of and make using email and reminders a breeze whatever device or platform I use. Kudos to google team.
