iPhone X screen problem

Does not support iPhone X

Used to love it...

I used to really love this app, but this latest update changed the notifications and they are way too big and in the way! So I have to disable the notifications so I might as well delete the whole app if I’m not going to know when I get an email. I’m really annoyed by this. Why change something like that? If it’s not broke then stop trying to fix it! The regular notifications were just fine

NOT UPDATED FOR IPHONE X

This is only of the only app from Google that is not optimized for the extra screen length of the iPhone X

Great email app but needs improvement

Inbox by Gmail is one of the better email apps out there at the moment. However its still lacks functionality and productivity spots. There isnt a way to combine all your inboxes into one. You have to keep switching back-and-forth and whichever when you have active is the one that you get notifications on. Images in emails also dont load quickly as much as the regular mail app thats from Apple. And above all, WE NEED IPHONE X SUPPORT!

Optimize for iPhone X

Excellent app. My only issue is that on the iPhone X it is not fully immersive. With that fixed it would easily be 5 stars.

Better notifications this update

I think they improved them on the lock screen. They dont include details on the updates so hard to be sure. Now just finish the iPhone X update and were good.

Good but buggy

Badge icon will not disappear, I’ve tried everything.

iPhone X

It’s been more than 6 months since the IPhone X has been launched and we still didn’t get the layout optimization. Besides that it’s a perfect email app.

Things You Cant Do!

You cant: Change the notification sound Adjust the preview length Add more than one label to an email Those seem like small things, and that I could overlook them. But Ive tried to get past them; I cant, and Ive used this app for two years. I think its time to go back to gmail.

iPhone X

iPhone X?

Out of the box ideas, has potential!

What I want to see changed: - *** Don’t automatically pin emails & reminders when they come back after snoozing - leave them unpinned so they stay in their bundle! My workaround is to search all pinned items and unpin them so they go into their bundles which mean I can’t use pinning :( - A few more keyboard shortcuts - basically what’s missing from gmail shortcuts - Type to narrow menus such as “move to bundle/label” - Type free form snooze duration in snooze menu - right now I can do this by editing a reminders text but that doesn’t work for emails What I love: - Inbox with Emails + Reminders = AMEN (links too!) - “done” mentality - treat emails & reminders as tasks - mark them done (check mark) when I’m done - I’ve always loved the simplicity of archiving emails when I’m done and not wasting time organizing them when search can find old emails faster than any org system) - this app puts this workflow front and center with checkmarks - Snoozing emails & reminders - Bundling is the million $ feature—grouping related emails (customizable) helps me whip through my inbox! Instead of unsubscribing everything I can now chose to get newsletters on weekends all in one bundle! Or, order status updates are grouped so I can dismiss them in a single click if I don’t care or I can look if I do care and quickly see all orders! And the best part is that my inbox is a one stop shop for all bundles, no need to click through labels to check each for emails. Plus some bundles are smart so I don’t have to train them—for example, github notifications are bundled by repository (project) which is AMEN! - Rich preview system - extract important aspects from emails and surface in my inbox list view so I don’t have to dig into each propitiatory email to find this! (Pictures, videos, link previews, package/flight status, picture of order items and link to order details even for companies that can’t seem to formulate a cogent order confirmation!) - Keyboard shortcuts! - Multiselect emails and actions - ie snooze all emails in a bundle, or use sweep to archive all emails in a bundle. - Left panel of labels is collapsible for distraction free UI. - Beautiful web and mobile (iOS for me) apps. - works side by side with gmail for easy migration path (i.e. filters and labels still configurable in gmail which helps for advanced filters that can only be created in the gmail UI currently) - Reminder assists - parsing text and attaching contact phone numbers, snooze date, location, etc - ie just today I used the “return x” reminder assist and the app listed all my recent purchases across vendors!! (Amazon, google express, etc)

No iPhone X support

Until it’s updated for iPhone X screen size, it’s a 1 star. I use this everyday for business and jumping back and forth with the keyboard slightly moving because of this, I typically have a hard time typing quickly.

Still No iPhone X Support

Google still hasnt updated for iPhone X interface... Starting to feel like an intentional anti-Apple device move. Doing this at the expensive of Google users who choose Apple seems “evil.”

Google Must Really Hate Apple

Please, please, please update Inbox to support iPhone X.

I Love Inbox

It always improves each time they work on it. It’s so much easier & faster than the regular gmail app or the gmail on my pc. Keep up the good work.

Perfect

Was obsessed with Gmail but once started using inbox I cant live without it! Its perfect for everyday use, managing travel, finance... BUT it has a major flaw. It keeps notification in app showing 99 messages as unread no matter what you do... The count is completely crazy, does not match Gmail or anything else. Ive uninstalled and installed over and over trying to fix but it keeps showing 99 as unread. Please fix that! And it will be perfect!

Missing iPhone X support

You are google !! Not some small company Why is it not supported ....

Still No Support

All this time with multiple updates and not one has given support for the current flagship device. If google wants it’s services to do well (and it has a lot here) it should keep its apps up to date and optimized with the latest versions. If not it shouldn’t even bring those apps here. Or just removed them.

A step beyond Gmail

Although a little buggy, it has gotten better with time. Inbox offers a lot of features missing from Gmail, like grouping emails into categories (friends, family, work folders) and the option to "snooze" emails to be reminded of them later. Over all, ads many tools to tidy up and streamline your... Inbox.

Support iPhone X

The app sill doesn’t support iPhone X.
